This study completed in late-2013 provides a countrywide overview of the current market for domestic biomass cooking devices and fuels, as well as of the future trends in this market.

This baseline survey conducted among households living in 100 villages in four randomly selected provinces and Phnom Penh has allowed an improved knowledge and understanding of the following:

market size and share for each cooking device and fuel
consumer attitudes and perceptions toward cooking devices and fuel
relevant market segmentations
current trends and predictions for the cooking device and fuel sector
